I plan to wisdom tooth and dental implant at the same time in about a week. I'm taking Metoprolol SUCC - 25mg/day and Warfarin Sodium ~ 4mg/day. My cardiologist advises me to stop Warfarin three days before the procedures. What about Metoprolol SUCC?

hi i have been using nicoret patches for 5 days now and i put them on the underside of my upper arm. i have the contriceptive implant in my upper arm. i am wondering if the patches can effect the implant at all as i have never had a period while having the implant and i have used them for years but this morning i had started with quite heavy bleeding is it related to the nicotine patch?

Hi doctor i hope u will give me the correct opinion as it is my personal question my problem is ,i had lost 4 teeth . so i am going to consult doctor .if the dentist suggest me for dental implant..is it a right choice and if yes i would be getting married does this dental implant surgery effect my married sex life...like reducing sperm count or not having child in future,as issue of having something foreign implanted in the body may get bacteria and viruses tend to target implants.setting up colonies around them, and that the immune system canâ€™t fight as efficiently in that setting as it can elsewhere in the body. Or else you suggest me which is the best solution for my lost tooth replacement. Thanks

I HAD 2ND DENTAL IMPLANT ON NOV 16. BY A DMD/MD. PAIN NEVER WENT AWAY. ORAL SURGEON REMOVED IT 2 WEEKS AGO.PAIN CONTINUES. HE SAID POSSIBLR STREP THROAT. TOOK 1 Z-PACK, NO IMPROVEMENT. HE SAID GO TO PRMARY DOCTOR. TOOK 5 DAYS LEVIQUIN. SHE SENT ME TO EAR NOSE THROAT DOCTOR. HE DID TESTS. NO EAR INFECTION, MAY NEVER HAVE HAD STREP THROAT. CURRENT DIAGNOSIS ID TMJ. WENT TO CHIROPRACTOR 2 TIMES. HE SAID TMJ ALSO. EAR /JAW/ IMPLANT SITE STILL HAVE INTENSE PAIN. ADJUSTMENTS AT 2 VISITS WITH THE CHIRPPRACTOR SLIGHTLY IMPROVED JAW AND EAR PAIN. I had an abortion 7 weeks ago. I have not been sexually active since the abortion so I know I am not pregnant. I also went back to the clinic two weeks later for an ultrasound and my uterus was clear and the abortion worked. I also took pregnancy tests all were negative. I have the implanon implant inserted in my arm. Now my question is I haven't gotten a period just brown spotting on and off nothing heavy. Should I be concerned I am spotting brown? I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Also, have failed back syndrome after previous laminectomy and fusion (L5-S1) with bone growth stim device implant. Laminectony and fusion was done due to spondylolythesis, herniated disc with nerve compression as well as DJD and complete fracture of facet joints.Have suffered with neuropathy in right leg/foot since pre-surgery. Now have 8mm herniated disc at L4 and L3 with nerve compression. Also Grade 2 spondylolythesis and significant degeneration of L3 and L4. Have had numerous injections to back, RFA, oral steroids, NSAIDs. Do need to lose weight (am working on this). Do take opiates for pain. Neuropathy has worsened, have buttocks (bilat) pain and right leg pain. Also, have had several episodes where I cannot lift my legs,can only shuffle when I walk, back spasms as well. Sleep is impossible. Take lyrica for neuropathy with minimal relief and neuropathy has worsened recently. Am so-o sick of dealing with this all but would like to avoid surgery if possible. Any advice?
