I am experiencing persistent eye redness resembling conjunctivitis. Along with that I have an abscessed tooth in my right upper jaw. Is the abscess causing the eye redness? I'm not sure whether to get an appointment first with my dentist or my opthalmologist.

Recently punched in the right eye went to the optomologist and had eye checked out and eye is ok with a subconjective hemorrage and much bruising around eye. Now when I blink I hear a pop in my eye and feel pain in my front right tooth? What is going on? Do I need to see a doctor again or dentist?

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. Also ,i hope you had rhogam after in your 1st pregnancy and after the miscarriage. Respected Dr. The following are the brief details of my case for your kind consideration:- 1. History of High Myopia since the age of 12 years. 2. Suffered Retina Detachment in the right eye at the age of 25 years and was operated upon at Shankar Netralaya, Chennai but with little gain of vision. 3. Continued with the help of contact lens in the left eye and almost stable number for the next 11 years. 4. Sudden appearance of rainbow like colours in the Left eye and the case was diagnosed as Advanced Optic Nerve Atrophy & Retinal Degeneration at PGI, Chandigarh & I was told that the condition is irreversible with no cure or medication. 5. I was put on eye drop medication with Dorzox, Combigan , Alphagen & am continuing with the same. 6. I was advised IOL transplant in the left eye and underwent surgery for the same at Grewal Eye Institute, Chandigarh. 7. During the last 4 Â½ years i.e. since the problem was diagnosed, I have underwent regular treatment under Acupuncture, Acupressure, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy medicines but with no relief and the deterioration in the field of vision and also its aquity has continued. 8. From last 4 years myn menstrual period got decreased. Ealier use to get for 4 days. after that reduced for 3 days then 2 days and now reduced the quantity also. 1st day 6 to 7 drops 2nd day 5 drops. I done all the medical check up all reports are normal. I am worried that it will get stop. Even myn weight also got incresed feeling more sleepy n laziness. Please help me out

Hi, Mostly the causes of hypomenorrhoea are visible on blood test and ultrasound and if they are not visible,then further tests will need to be done such as mri scan or dilation and curettage and biopsy.
