abscess is getting consolidated , its better to remove the tooth , very difficult to save your tooth , do it as soon as possible , root canal will fail mostly

1. If the abscess is fluctuant (i.e. not firm) then ask your dentist to give an intr-oral incision so that the pus can be drained out.
2. Ask him to open the root canals of that tooth and give open dressing with intra-canal medicament. This will reduce the pain.
3. You have to take antibiotics and pain killers for a period of minimum 3 days.
4. Once the pain subsides, you can undergo root canal treatment of that tooth.

root canal will most probably fail in your case...get the tooth removed as early as possible...inject-able antibiotics will greatly help if abscess is to much

Due to low grade infection the water in the balloon like feeling has transformed into hard node. In my opinion it is better to remove the tooth and replace it
