OLIGOSPERMIA
Oligospermia is a male fertility issue defined as a low sperm concentration in the ejaculate. Low sperm concentration or “sperm count†is the number of sperm in a presc of ejaculate
TYPES
1.Mild Oligospermia= 10 million to 20 million sperm/mL
2.Moderate Oligospermia= 5 million to 10 million sperm/mL
3.Severe Oligospermia= 0 to 5 million sperm/mL
4.Cryptoozospermia= 0-rare sperm
5.Azoospermia = 0 sperm.
CAUSES
Reasons for Oligospermia
It can be caused by various factors from which few are permanent and few are not such as
1.Obstruction of normal flow of sperm due to testicular trauma and vasectomy
