Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. Also ,i hope you had rhogam after in your 1st pregnancy and after the miscarriage. I need to abort my 3 to 4 weeks old pregnancy. I have tested my urine wait the pregnancy test tube (HCG test tube). It gave me a positive pregnancy result. Now i wish to abort it at home. I do not wish to go to the hospital and am not economically well too. hence please guide me with the quick abortion in a simple way.

Pregnancy cannot be less tahn 4 weeks as it is always counted from the day of the last menstrual period,so your pregnancy should be calculated accordingly.Also,termination of pregnancy ,is not such a simple procedure, so kindly consult a gynaecologist,get an ultrasound done for early pregnancy to calculate the exact size of the pregnancy,blood group and haemoglobin done. i had my last periods on 20th jan 2013 ,which went on for 5 days.After that till april15th 2013 i did not get my periods , so i consulted a gynaecologist , who did a pregnancy test ,which turned out to be negative. SO she prescribed me Cycloreg for 5 days , 3 times a day. i took all the tablets till 19th APril 2013, and still i did not get periods till 29th april.SO i again consulted my doctor ,n this time pregnancy test was positive . My Antenatal ultrasound shows i am 4-5 weeks pregnant now my question is - what are the effects of cycloreg on the baby.SHould i terminate or continue with pregnancy??

hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. I want to know that is it a abortion pills? would it be okay to take it to continue my period? can it harm to my further pregnancy? Hi, Even condoms are not 100 percent effective at times leakage can occur in a condom and you can even get pregnant by pre penile secreations, may be secreations you might have had during fore play. what can cause hcg level to rise apart from pregnancy? i have missed period for only 2 days. Because of my curiosity, i brought two home pregnancy test kits and checked. when i checked for first time with I-CAN kit, i got faint pink line. I was happy that i was pregnant. The very next day, when i checked with APOLLO kit for confirmation, i got nothing. Im really in the state of confusion. Am i really pregnant or what?

Hi, Just wait for a few days, do it on seventh day of missing your periods,although some test kits are very good and they even would tell or give positive result on second day of you missing your periods,but still you can wait for a few more days to get confirmatory results.
