Hi, im a 22 yr old indian girl and I have been having extreme pain in my left lower ribs and waist which extend a little in the back for the last 6 months or so. Initially the pain was not much but recently its has agrevated so much that i have to take pain killers twice a day just to get through the day. I hurts very badly when the area is touched or if i bend or while changing positions during sleep. My xray is absolutely normal nd my blood work up is all well except for vitamin d which is 8.4. I had fracture of the fifth metatarsal in my right foot three months ago. My ortho surgeon advised me to wear an Aircast short boot. I wore it for more than two months. After my 3rd xray showed more callus formation, he allowed me to remove it already and just wear shoes with flat hard sole. The x ray result stated that there is more callus formation. Demineralization of bones is appreciated. What does it mean that demineration is APPRECIATED? Is this positive? Thank you.
