I am a 46 year old man and over the last few years have been seeing the appearance of numerous red spots on my body. The spots are small and slightly raised and do not itch or hurt. What could these be? Is there any way I can treat them?

Hi, These spots sound like Cherry Angiomas. Cherry angiomas (also called Campbell De Morgan spots) are an age related change, often first appearing in a person’s forties or fifties. They are caused due to localized dilation of blood vessels in the skin. They are completely harmless and you may get a few more with age. They can be removed for cosmetic reasons if so desired, and for this I would recommend the CO2 laser. Just one sitting is required and this is done by dermatologists. Ano ...

Hello, You have written that you are not diabetic. For natural protection from fungal infection and also to help healing , one should protect the affected parts from accumulation of humidity. Exposure to fresh air freely and keeping it reasonably dry helps healing. Exposure to hot climate should be avoided. Over the counter Fluconazole lotion is a simple remedy to help by local application. This is not a dangerous illness or condition. Feel free to ask more questions. ...

Getting red colour urination plus pain after taking unwanted 72

Hi, There are many cause of red coloured urine and instead red coloured urine is not a side effect or result of unwanted 72. It can be because of blood from vagina which might be appearing you to be blood from urine (as you had your last period on 01/12/12). Hello. I am 29 years old from Australia and currently am in Tokyo. I had protected sex with a hooker a few nights ago and a hand job from one last night. I am overweight and chafe a lot when walking a lot but I have noticed itchy red lines have developed behind my knees on both sides. Red rashes are between my legs (but is usual for my chafing). Please note I have been walking around all day long in jeans in cold/warm weather so I am not sure if red is inflammation or the start of an STD? Please advise if you think I need to return home immediately for tests or if I am overreacting ? Thank you

Hi, Please tell about your diabetic status. Rashes between your legs, at the back of your knees,in armpits are common, as the area is usually moist and allergic. Rash is common at such a location, and you already told me that chaffing is common to you then it can be because of that only. Looking at your condition that you are unable to wear loose clothes all day long. try and wear loose cotton clothes at some part of the day so that your body can be exposed to fresh air . Try to keep you geni ...

I've been noticing a lump on my upper left thigh. It started out small and red but grew over time. The red part is about the size of a dime now. But if I feel around the lump is feels like it has expanded underneath the skin. It's very hard. I thought it was an ingrown hair, so today I squeezed it. And small amount of blood came out but no hair. Now it looks darker red/purple.

Hi, There can be many causes for an underneath thigh swelling 1. It could be an abscess, cellulitis 2. it could be osteomyeletis 3. It can be haematoma Do you have any bleeding tendency ? Is the temperature raised, and do you have fever ? Did you have any injury or trauma ?(even if not then to go for an x-ray because in most cases the trauma is to trivial) Are you a diabetic ? Do you see any kind of veins all over your legs ? Have you noticed any kind of pus ?(because it could simply indicate ...
