hi, I am 26 year old male.My heart pulse rate is 100 bpm at rest, blood pressure range from 120-136/80-90, when high blood pressure I have pain behind eye and headache. Hi, You should try to lower it right now with diet first for 3-4 months. If no effects are seen then you may go on with drugs for this(raised cholesterol). Your blood pressure is not high otherwise it is just a little raised for your age. As soon as your cholesterol comes down your b.p will also reduce. I wonder if you could give direction I dont know whether to go to the doctor or the dentist? I broke a crown about 3mths ago, whicht he dentist sorted out for me but about a mth later I developed a cold and my crown became so sensitive I couldnt close my mouth it felt like it had a pulse and the bone was rejecting the post. after googling I realised it could very well be a sinus infection and got a 10 day course of anitbiotics which helped immensley, but the gum where it connects to the cheek pulses and if I run my finger over the spot I feel as though I am getting an electric shock. It was fine if i didnt touch it but over the last few days the pain has come back and a lump is developing and spreading. the pain is in my cheek bone and around my eye socket, I had a root canal on this tooth over 10 years ago with no problems and the tooth has no odour or any leakage around it

Hello, Your problem seems to be primarily dental. I wolud recommend you to visit the dental proffesional an make an x ray.. From wat history you hav provided it seems the nerve has been damaged and there is infection, pus, developed below the tooth.. hence the wierd senstion... sinus infection may or may not be related to the tooth.. sp kindly visit the dr and take his opinion. I am 25 years old. Male. 5'10 160lbs. I have been active most of my life. I recently ran a tough mudder (12 mile obstacle course). However, I have always dealt with anxiety and worry about my health. My pulse is extremely strong. I can see my pulse in my neck, stomach, and wrist at all times. Even when I am not anxious. I have had many echochardiograms, EKG's, I've had an MRI of my heart and a nuclear stress test. All came back normal despite the fact that I have a small case of mitral valve prolapse. I was cleared to play sports and exercise. Lately I have had symptoms of pain I can only describe as someone squeezing my neck. It is most uncomfortable at the base of my neck towards my chest. I have also had headaches, a slight cough, difficulty concentrating and fatigue. It seems like the pulse in my neck is more visible than it has been. Is this all in my head?

I am 65 w/blood pressure of 151/66 and pulse of 89. Are those normal readings I do have chronic bronchitis and lately my feet and legs have been swelling quite a bit and I have been extremely short of breath. I was on bp med Lisinopril but had to change because of chronic cough (which did subside after stopping med) I am now on amlodipine besylate 5 mg and I take thyroid levothyroxine 1.3 mcc and furosemide of 40 mg.

I am a 24 yr old female about 5'4 and weigh about 135. A couple months ago I found a lump on the right side of my neck and it was large enough to see so I went to the doc and he seemed pretty concerned so he sent me for a cat scan and blood work. When he got the results he sent me to a ear nose and throat doc. After that doc checked me out he wanted to look at the cat scan imagine s himself and told me that ibnow had 2 lumps. I have been having trouble swallowing and horseness in my voice I also find myself clearing it alot and stiffness in my neck. I am very concerned and it seems like this doc is taking forever to tell me anything. Dear Doctor, Kindly go through this lengthy letter to you with patience and kindly advise me proper advise to clear my mind . I am 72 year old male from India and strictly Vegetarian.I am not sedentary type and walks 4 Â½ km every day in the morning and always active. IHD and BP and TYPE II DIABETES I have had IHD (T wave inversion) in the year 1977 and mild hypertension in 1981. DIABETES IN 2010. The doctor who has attended then on me prescribed Aten 50 in 1977. Since then I have been using Aten 50 in one form or other like Aten 50/Atenlol/Stamlobeta. 37 long years have passed with out any problem with either of these two conditions . My BP is quite normal 120/80 and some times 110/70 and some times on very few occassions 140/80 or 90 and my pulse rate will be around 58 to 65 most of the time . My BP on the day of the visting my physician is 140/80 as on 12th dec 2014. My diabetes is under control and am taking glycomet 250 mg twice a day. The attending physician who is an MD has prescribed Cresar 40 mg (Telmisartan) and asked me to stop taking Stamlobeta 50 mg which i am taking from 2006 and further said since i am using this Amlodipine combined Atenlol ,its time to change the medicine and Cresar will also take care of the diabetes and kidneys and heart (IHD) besides BP. As on 12th july 2014 my Lipid profile is very normal. Cholestrol 123 , Tryglycerides 141 ,HDL 53 and VLDL 23. Kindly advise on the following. 1. Since I am taking Stamlobeta since 2006 and prior to that Aten 50 from 1977 to 2006., do I have to taper stamlobeta dosage besides taking Cresar 40 mg? 2. Do i have to continue taking Stamlobeta in small dosage along with Cresar 40 mg?.If so in which dosage do I have to take? 3.Is cresar 40 mg safe for IHD patients also? Please do not form the impression that i have no confidence in my Physician. But i have a tendency to go for second opinion on new drugs before starting a new one.
