I have a swelling from my ear to my chin and it hurts and itches. It hurts badly when I try to chew my food. I was told its mumps but I read up on tonsilitis and I want to be sure if it can be tonsilitis. And I'm already treating it with antibiotics. Will that work?

From last 2-3 year i am having swelling on both side of salivary glands. without any symptoms of mumps. but sometime having some pain in ear and most of the time whenever i squeeze had unbearable etching in my left ear. kindly suggest
