On few occasions during the first day of my menstruation cycle, I get SEVERE cramps and my hands go absolutely numb and freeze up to the point where I can't move my fingers at all. I break out into a cold sweat and breathe rapidly. This lasts about an hour. Always on my first day, and I've gotten these episodes ever since I started menstruating since I was 13. About 1-2 times a year. Help?!

Well the symptoms you have mentioned above are totally normal, we call it premenstrual syndrome, almost 85% of females experience these symptoms during their first day of period or few days before periods. 43yo, no children (unexplained infertility), skin tags & internal haemorrhoid (open bowels each morning, occassionally 2 times per day), anaemic, 8-10 fibroids, enlarged, retroverted uterus/stomach, large left ovarian septated cyst, bleed 10-14 days with flooding on days 1/2 (change every 1.5-2hrs) & loss of blood clots - 3cm-10cm diameter, 2011 suffered with BV 3 times, last 2 months suffering with thrush on & off (especially after sex/foreplay, or last few days of menstruation). This morning I woke at 3:30am with a gush of fluid - Mostly clear fluid, odourless with 7cm odd size clot of blood. When I stood up, gush of blood & once on the toilet, largest clot loss I have experienced to date. I have now stopped bleeding, with only a blood stained, watery discharge when I wipe. Can you please provide your thoughts before I go to see a new Gyn. I am SICK of being 'sick'!!! I would LOVE to find a Doctor that can tell me SOMETHING useful.
