Hi, My sister has been detected with the Syptoms of Systemic sclerosis, she has been undergoing treatment , but recent report of ct scan shows the following conclusion" Smooth subpleural inter and intra lobular septal thickening long posterior aspects of both lower lobes, anterior and lateral aspects of right upper lobe, anterior aspects of lright middle lobe and lingual. these features are suggestive of eraly interstitial lung disease." Does this report shows she will have a major breathing problem... Dear Dr. Chellappa, I am Writing this mail to know is there a treatment for Lung damage due to smoking. My dad was a smoker from young age and he is now 68 years old. He i suffering from Lung damage and not able breath properly, He is been refereed to have external Oxygen for 4 hr daily and Nebulization.
