hi. i am 31 weeks pregnant. i had loose motions (diarrhoea), so i took one capsule of eldoper (loperamide hydrochloride 2mg) last night. i am really concerned if that effects foetus. Please answer. i would be grateful to you. thank you

Hi!! loperamide is a drug not recommended in pregnancy ( esp in early pregnancy),but if one dose is taken it does not justify termination of pregnancy or any additional monitoring of the fetus.So ,don't take any other doses of loperamide . hello, i have cough and running nose from 2 days and some tooth aches from couple of weaks... i went to local medical store and i toled my problem he suggested me almox 500.. i brought it.. should i take these capsule . he suggested me take 1 capsule in morning and 1 capsule in the night..? what should i do ?

First of all you should visit to your Family Physician for your running nose and cough and also to a Dentist for tooth ache, instead of a medical store. Although Almox is not a complete answer for your problem; Medicine and its doses depends on the severity of your problem and the line of treatment decided by your Doctor. Hi, I am not sure,your doctor must have examined you so he can might be telling better,but i belive you should have complet liver tests including pt aptt and coagulation profile and billirubin levels and also repeat the tests you already have. Although yellow eyes can also be due to mddy sclera,some people have muddy sclera. Your tsh is also raised so he might be telling you for some test or may be you could be directly be put on medicines for this. Time taken is different for diffirent person ...
