I am a 24 year old female from Bangalore. Me and my partner have been trying to have intercourse for the past 6 months. But I always feel intense pain and we have to withdraw. At first, it was impossible to even insert a finger inside my vagina. But now thatâ€™s possible, but I feel a burning sensation everytime my partner inserts his finger. So we have not been able to proceed. Please advise on what can be done and a doctor I can meet in Bangalore.

Hi, Women take time to get aroused and the pain is more on inserting a finger in vagina intially, because your vagina is dry (because of lack lubrication beacause of lack of secreations). You should take time to involve in fore play first,so that you get a little wet or aroused before you can actually involve in sex. I am 7.4 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound shows 13 mm embryo and 30 mm gestational sac. According to the GS, i am 8 weeks pregnant, that is impossible. I was told that the GS measurements can vary and the most accurate wayto determine gestational age is embryo size. I would appreciate your advice, thanks.

I donâ€™t think this is impossible. This is just a simple case of misinterpretation of pregnancy aging. When obstetricians date pregnancy, we donâ€™t count from the day the intercourse happened. We date from the 1st day of mentruation. And, discrepancy from the ultrasound and menstrual counting is normal. It is very hard for it to be 100 percent match. Yesterday I was playing in a soccer game around 3:30, I got cleated pretty bad on the inside of my right knee and went down, I was down for a minute but then got up and continued to play. My knee was sore but seemed fine. After the game it began getting more painful but I ignored it assuming it was juist sore. This morning I woke up and had excruciating pain trying to straighten it and was almost impossible to try and walk on. When it's bent it's almost like nothing and is fine. If it helps I'm a 14 year old girl.

I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Also, have failed back syndrome after previous laminectomy and fusion (L5-S1) with bone growth stim device implant. Laminectony and fusion was done due to spondylolythesis, herniated disc with nerve compression as well as DJD and complete fracture of facet joints.Have suffered with neuropathy in right leg/foot since pre-surgery. Now have 8mm herniated disc at L4 and L3 with nerve compression. Also Grade 2 spondylolythesis and significant degeneration of L3 and L4. Have had numerous injections to back, RFA, oral steroids, NSAIDs. Do need to lose weight (am working on this). Do take opiates for pain. Neuropathy has worsened, have buttocks (bilat) pain and right leg pain. Also, have had several episodes where I cannot lift my legs,can only shuffle when I walk, back spasms as well. Sleep is impossible. Take lyrica for neuropathy with minimal relief and neuropathy has worsened recently. Am so-o sick of dealing with this all but would like to avoid surgery if possible. Any advice?
