I had a tooth surgically extracted Dec. 20th. It has felt like it has not healed properly. Five days ago I noticed the inside gum (under tongue) back from where the tooth was extracted had exposed bone and is extremely painful. I went back to the dentist today and she said it was not from the extraction, but was a mouth ulcer causing the bone to be exposed. She Rx'ed magic mouthwash and lortab 5mg. I have appt with oral surgeon on Thursday. I am concerned about she didn't give me antibiotics and the surgeon wont give any until consultation. Is this dangerous to have exposed bone? I have lupus and I don't know how this will affect me. Help

my son is 4 years old and fell. he cut the corner of his upper lip right side and also lost 3 milk teeth. the doctor told me that he had used dissolving stitches for the inside of the lip and the outer ones had to be removed after 5 days. i am worried as to how long will it take for the outer stitches to be healed and removed and also the dissolving stitches. will his permanent teeth grow back as the teeth came out along with its root. the sutures used were prolene 6-0 and vicryl 5-0 rapide. please help me if anyone knows

I got my wisdom teeth out about 12 days ago, and it is almost healed. I feel like there might be a cavity in the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth extracted, but there might not be either. I haven't been able to brush my teeth back there, and whenever I put my tongue back there to take out food that is stuck, I taste something metallic, it almost taste identical to the taste of raw cabbage. I don't want to go to the dentist just yet because I am still healing, and I cant open my mouth so big, and I don't want to make anything worse. If you could help me out, that would be great.

While back i cut off my frenulum on my penis with nail scissors and did it with no problem, why can't doctors do it the same way instead of cuts and stitches, i just snip it off 2 times with little bleeding and healed up fine. I can masterbate with no pain from frenulum and no rawness on the gland because it misses it, and can pull forskin back farther then before.

About 4 years ago i removed my frenulum with nail scissors and had no problems. It healed up just fine. I made 2 cuts and it was gone with no stitches or anything, just little bleeding and was fine. Why can't the doctors do it that way instead of the cuts and stitches. I still got the frenulum but it is inside the penis. Now i can pull back my forskin back farther and can masterbate with out any pain and my gland is less raw because i can do it behind it.

No need to use Microcid 25mg as it is type of pain killer which is not necessary for you at present. I have had this white strip across the side of my tongue for the past 3 weeks or so. Recently I had researched what it could possibly be and have narrowed it down to leukoplakia and oral thrush. It does not hurt when I eat or hurt at all. I started taking vyvance because of ADD about a month ago and doing so made me start to bite my tongue and gums. I had stopped doing so once I noticed the white strip but it has not healed. I also get little tiny sores on and off on my tongue that look almost like little white taste buds and get irritated very easily. But I just would like to know if it is just a raw spot tongue or leukoplakia because I have used a few tobacco products in past. nothing that lasted more than a month or two of use. I am not even 20 yet and the thought of cancer is terrifying me. Any thoughts on what it could be?Thank you.
