Contraindicated! Pacemaker controls heart rate and rhythm, does whatever it can do to keep regular, normal heartbeat. Any recrational drug act on heart rate by different mechanisms (for example ecstasy dilate veins and less blood goes to heart and heart needs to work faster to pump enough blood for body), so it does absolutely opposite thing, that of course will act on pacemaker's work. hello doctor i am helen mariquit i have difficulty of breathing, heart pain, back pain . and acording to x-ray i have para cardiac pnemonnia. the doctor gave me antibiotic and ambrosol for 7days but no effect still i have the pain and difficulty of breathing, so i refer to other doctor but she gave me pain releaver but still i have the pain. please help me what shall i do . thank you very much.

My father is 62 years old. 6 days ago he got a cardiac arrest & water in the lung with respiratory distress. As per doctors reoprt, pulse 148 b/min, BP 200/110 mm of Hg, heart: NAD, Lungs: Creps(+) Earlier he got a mild heart attack on 2006 & found 3 artery blockage up to 50%.
