A few years back after having visited a hill station in India.. i got this sort of coating on my upper lip that couldn't be scraped off easily, a lot of my friends did too.. but even now my problem persists, this was followed by dryness around my lip and white patches that were spreading and cuts started forming. on consulting several dermatologists, they prescribed Fluticasone Propionate ointments of varying concentration saying that its caused by the fact that I was born by extremely dry skin and the saliva dries the area more, but I've been using petroleum jelly on my lips since I was small as I always used to get chapped lips.. I similar sort of dry patch developed on my finger which went on to spread over the years to my entire finger, for which i use the the same medication.. the itching on the finger and the dryness goes away after a couple of days of use but then it comes back when not used and the texture of my finger has turned out to be slightly glossy looking compared to the rest of my fingers..

Hi, As you said that you don't have leucoderma,and it is just simply dried lips then primary cause for dried lips is allergy. my grandson of 12 days has normal ranges of t4 and t3 but 6.3 tsh. mothers direct coombs test is negative . he is apositive and mother is o negative. he is born at 37 weeks by caesarian. does he have congenital hypothyroidism? he is ok drinks mothers milk .indirect coombs test for anti-bodies is also negative

when my baby is born she is so fair and pink ..after two day her face and body look radish ,after 4/5 days she look darker . lots of people said don’t worry baby color will change after some month .i don’t know but her complexion looks dull now .my husband have fair complexion and myself fair. Baby was born premature at 35 weeks on 7th nov2013. Uptill now i constantly have problems feeding due to sore cracked nipples and severe breast pain during and after nursing.... What is the reason behind this??? As i really wished to breastfeed exclusively but all my efforts failed badly( took lactare 2 tabs thrice a day for 2-3 weeks) I give her lactodex lbw uptill now ( 150ml thrice a day) ... Hi, My daughter is 3 years old and was born with 1.6 KG weight. For 1st two yaers, she was all right and afterwards she is having frequent cough and cold problems. Our doctor ask to use Asthalin and Budecort inhaler 02 puffs twice a day of each. We have started the same and follow for 03 months. During this period she was fine but when we stop using these inhalers, the same problems reoccurs. My questions are: 1. Are these inhalers temporary solution for stressing cold and cough? 2. Do we need to continue the use if these inhalors when problem occurs? 3. What is the permanent treatment of this problem? 4. What are the side effects of prolonged usage of these inhalers?
