Hi there I have been to the doctors on Xmas eve and he said I have sinusitis as all my nasal passage was blocked I had a lot of pressure and tooth ache and head ache , he told me to take ibuprofen and sudafed and steam inhalation to which I did , that night went to bed and woke with terrible ear ache in my right ear after 4 hours it started cracking and eventually released fluid which then released the pain of ear ache , Christmas Day night it started in my left ear but this time the pain was so bad that nothing touched it and I was almost delirious ! Eventually it to cracked and popped and released fluid ! Both ears are still a little achy but bearable but they are still leaking and I am now a little death and I have ringing in my right ear constantly , I am taking antibiotics now started them on Christmas Day amoxicillin what do you think is going on in there I'm very concerned

My 2 1/2 year old son had the flu and took tamiflu. A week after his symptoms got better he gotta a fever again for 3 days. He developed a large blister on his lower right lp and sores in his mouth. His teeth are sore and he cant drink eat or swallow much. His gums are red and swollen and bleed if we try to brush his teeth or he eat anything hard or crunchy. The doctor gave us amoxicillin but didnt diagnose anything and his mouth is still red and swollen, 6th day. The blister on his lip did not turn in to a coldsore. Its like an ulcer now that it has popped.

I have had ulceratiions on my tongue for 10 years (on and off) and have been told there is no specic cause or treatment. Recently I took a combionation of 2 antibiotics, amoxicillin and azithromycin for helicobacter pilori in the stomach and it temporarily stopped the ulceration. On completion they resumed. On another occasion the same scenerio occured. How can it not be bacterial when it responds to antibiotics? My tongue is and has been so sore for so long Please Help!

I have snorted my prescription vicodin for almost 2 years, i have been off them for almost a year! however i would get severe pain in my face and mouth like a tooth ache and some "genius" mentioned tylenol. so i snorted enough tylenol to barely coat the inside of my nose to make the pain go away. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and i completely quit snorting the tylenol for a little over a week now. i have tried using neosporin cream to numb the inside of my nose and i have tried a netti pot and also tried silver-sol gel. Is there anything i can do to make the pain go away? someties its tolerable and other times not but i have done went over a week with this pain i refuse to go back to snorting esp with a baby on the way. Oh n ive tried taking a script i had of amoxicillin. also i took a flashlight and looked in my nose and against my cartilage wall its still somewhat white but its also a dark brown. any idea what that could be?

Hi, I am Ashish Wanjarkhedkar from Aurangabad and currently in london. I am suffering from toothache at the moment from last 4-5 days. First few days was thought of taking painkiller like ibrofen, paracetamol n all but didnt help. Tried to apply oragel and clove oil but it will get relax for only 3-4 hours and again starts. Then I have took an appointment of dentist nearby to my place and visited 2 days back. He suggest me to take antibiotic named as Amoxicillin for 5 days to get gem infection out but seems if I didnt take the dose on time, it starts pain again. Also do have actual a pain under my jaw (left side), please suggest.

I have a dental infection. I take sosium valproate 1000mg pd and amiodipine 5mg. Dentist prescribed amoxicillin which didn't work for 1 week. Then metronidazole for 1 week. Have had to stop taking as bad side effects after 2 days, flushing, stabbing pains to head like migraine. Phoned the pharmacy who dispenses my meds and advised to discontinue. Discussed with my Doctor who always prescribes Clarithromycin for infections I may, i.e. chest infection. This antibiotic gives me no side effects. The dentist is aware of the meds I am on however disregards my contradictory side effects to penicillin based antibiotics. What is your advice

get radiographs done with your teeth having infection and get it treated only medicines wont help with dental pain, infection needs to be drained ...
