I'm a 35 week pregnant and suffering with severe toothache since two days. Have taken dolo 650 twice a day. Pain is in last tooth of left lower jaw. Please suggest

Self medication is dangerous...kindly visit you dentist and gynecologist ......35 weeks is close to due date hence ...after consultation with your dentist and suitable advice from your gynecologist please take the medication suggested and see if you can delay any kind of procedure till after delivery

Use home remedy. a drop of clove oil in the painful tooth. Avoid medication

u have pain in the third molar, do warm saline rinsing frequently, visit a dentist immediately

Pain may be due to 3rd molar infection or may be due to any carious teeth present. Any dental treatment is safe in 2nd trimester.
Treatment plan:
- consult to nearby dentist
-x-ray (with lead appron)
-Removal of 3rd molar depends on type of infection & which trimester is going on
-If any other tooth is carious , go for RCT treatment

in pregnancy only crocin tablet is recomonded for any kind of pain
if you are taking diclofinac immediately stop it other wise it may cause heart wall defects in your baby
i will suggest you to go to dental clinic and get immediate necessary treatment or partial treatment so that you will not suffer from any pain during pregnanacy
we does all dental treatments in special 2nd trimister of pregnancy

The reason for your lower tooth pain could be:
1) wisdom tooth
2) Carious tooth

You need to visit local dentist to get it checked. Probably they might require a x-ray also which they can take using a lead apron.
the tablet your taking is DOLO-650 which is plain paracetamol, although safest in pregnancy but don't take it unnecessarily.

No self medication is advisable in pregnancy. Having high doses of NSAIDs during the 3rd trimester could induce pre-term labour. Please visit your dentist and he will be able to suggest ways to relieve you of the pain at least on a provisional basis till the problem can be adequately addressed at a latter date.

i think ur in third trimester ,now u had problem of wisdom teeth .at this time we cant prescribe powerful pain killer.just go to dentist for ck up with concern of ur gynac dr take medication

Hello i had my no 48 wisdom tooth removed on thursday morning and its been nearly 3 days now. What i wanted to know was i have noticed yesterday and today that the gum which had folded over the extraction site has receeded and left behind a thin white strand of tissue. is this a normal part of the healing process. I am not in any pain and have not smoked since the day of extraction (before). Also i know your advice will be to stop permanently but how long should i wait till i can smoke again

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.
