I got salmonella typhi O 1:320 & salmonella tphi H in my Widal Test Report. pls. suggest me how i should proceed for further Medical & how dangerous is this ?

PAST HISTORY : I got repeated tpphoide in last 2-3 Months twice or thrice. This time i am taking Medicine regularly from last 12 days but still both O & H are increasing.

Hi,

Widal test may remain positive even after 5-6 months after treatment with typhoid. This is not an indicator of whether you are treated or not.

You did not tell anything about whether you are still having fever or not or any gastric problem(constipation or diarrhoea). If your fever is still going on with no break up or you are still having all symptoms then I would suggest you to get a blood culture and antibiotic sensitivity to be done, so that we can know about your status whether the antibiotic you are having you might be resistant to it,and we might have to change the antibiotic. And if your symptoms are going away then only raised widal is not an indicator of this,that you are not getting well.

Diet to be taken in typhoid is no diffrrent except to avoid deep fried stuff you can have anything what ever you want to eat,but your body should be able digest it.
1) Fresh juice
2) Cocunut water
3) Porridge
4) Banana
4) Milk
5) Custard
6) Pulses
7) Mashed potato

At times milk and milk products may cause diarrhoea,if that is the case with you then avoid milk products.

The answer to your last question is the same if your symptoms are coming down then you don't need to do anything, else you may consult a doctor with above tests,you may also go for typhoid vaccine(prescribed only by a doctor) if you are having repeated typhoid and also check the source for your water supply. At times the typhoid can get chronic also which may cause stone in your gall bladder also.

Doctor my mother aged 63yrs have DVT. When scanned the report says following; 1- grey scale imaging shows enlarge diameter of Common Femoral Vein (CFV) & Superficial Fomoral Vein (SFV). 2- Color Doppler reveals non-fillilng of external lilac vein on the left side. Partial filling of colour is seen in the left CFV & SFV. The Popliteal vein does not show any colour filling. The Peroneal and Posterior Tibial veins are filling with the colour. Anterior tibial vein could not be identified on colour Doppler. 3- Doppler imaging shows mid respiratory plasticity in CFV. There is very poor Response to distal augmentation in the CFV. 4- Great Saphenous vein is Patent. IMPRESSION- Deep vein thrombosis in lower limb involving External lliac vein, CFV,SFV & Popliteal vein, and possibly Anterior Tibial Veins. There is partial recanalisation of CFV & SFV. Posterior Tibial and Peroneal veins are patent. Suggested clinical correlation. Scan copy added to the medical record in the profole. that the above is the report of the radiologist now what medicine you prescribe ,how to take and when to review the report? .whether the same will be cure or the patient should be in medicine for life long,what are the immediate risk?

Hi, The Doppler examination shows a thrombus in the deep veins with partial recanalization. This suggests that the thrombus is of a chronic nature. i had sex with my husband last month on 11 march. he used condom but he felt that protection has failed so gave me unwanted 72. after 1 day on 13 march we again had sex. this time also he used condom but this time we both sure that there is nothing to wary so i didn't take unwanted 72. next day i was bleeding continuously for 3 days. my periods date was 4 march but still don't get my period. my pregnancy test was negative and i m taking pill to get my period. what to do pls help me

Hi, The day you must have finished your tablets for bringing periods,the periods will come around 5-10 days after the last day you had your tablets. Unwanted 72 is a hormonal drug and and it is not neccesary that it will disturb your cycle at one go,that depends from person to persons hormonal structure how your body reacts to those drugs but if taken plenty of times they can cause you hormonal imbalance and should be avoided as much as possible. ...

Hi.. Im 24 yr old male. i have an habit of masturbation. i think in my school 8th class i did masturbation first time. After a year it became a habit for me. iâ€™m very much ashamed of having this habit. After doing masturbation, I hate myself that I cant control it. hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. Hi, Even condoms are not 100 percent effective at times leakage can occur in a condom and you can even get pregnant by pre penile secreations, may be secreations you might have had during fore play.
