can I buy Betanoid syrup over the counter for her cough that makes her chest tight?

Baby is suffering from cold and more importantly cough since past 2 days. Doctor has prescribed T-minic drops 0.5 ml oral for 3 days and post to which cough didnot subside, then to use Kufril drops 0.5 ml thrice a day. However on using first instance of T-minic baby had pooped 4 times (Can be because he was on antibiotics just a week back for ear infection. His stools were more in number atleast twice after every feed. But once medicnes are stopped his stools were back to normal and he poops only once a day). and also his cough has increased very much. His feeding routine got slightly distrubed as he is not able to complete the bottle with ease. He leaves an ounce or so sometimes due to stuffy nose or congestion. Are these medications safe for a 5 month old baby? if not what precautions to be taken to soothe him from cough and cold?

Hi my daughter who is 7 has blisters in her mouth and on her tongue on of the ones on her tongue has gone red and flat whilst the rest of her tongue has I white coating. Also her gums around her teeth look slightly swollen an bleed if pressed gently or when brushed . I took her to doctors yesterday an was told they olsers and to use bonjella. Over the weekend she was quiet an had a slight temperature but complained of being cold she has little apatite as it hurts is it possible she has scarlet fever an not mouth olsers. For the past six months I have experienced dull chest pains lasting two to five miniutes sometimes longer sometimes shorter, similar to heart burn. AT&T first it was on the upper left but now it is in the middle of my chest. During this period I also have occasional clear jelly like phlegm balls two to three times a day although not continual. I have had blood test,chest X-rays,angiogram all negative.Please advise.

My 4 year old started losing her voice on Saturday. Now tonight she started a cough and sounds raspy. She has asthma and went to the skin doctor and her bumps in her face were strep bacterial virus & is on antibiotics. (Last week) do I need to get her in to her doctor to have them check her out?

Almost every time I eat rice, I get the most horrible pain in my upper back and chest. It makes no difference the type of rice either. I've always been a slow eater so it's not caused by eating too fast. And taking a drink of anything only makes it worse. The pain lasts from a couple minutes up to 10 or 15 minutes, and it is very intense. What causes this?
